Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas to promote a hygienic environment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and accommodate dietary restrictions or preferences.
Help with inventory management by keeping track of food supplies and notifying supervisors when stock is low.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques.
Provide support during meal times by serving food, assisting individuals as needed, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Dietary Aide or in a similar food service role is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation is essential.
Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for helping others and contributing positively to their well-being through quality food service.
Culinary skills or training are a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is highly valued.
